Gagasi FM has officially announced a shake-up in its popular morning lineup, confirming that rising radio talent Nkulee Mbatha will replace Minnie Ntuli as co-host of the station’s flagship breakfast show. The announcement comes in the wake of recent controversy surrounding Ntuli’s role on the show.
Ntuli, who had been a fixture on Gagasi FM for several years, recently stepped back from her presenting duties following public backlash linked to an off-air dispute and social media criticism. According to station insiders, the decision was made to allow Ntuli time away from the spotlight, though no permanent departure has been confirmed.
In her place, Nkulee Mbatha a dynamic broadcaster who joined Gagasi FM in 2023 has taken over the morning mic. Known for her engaging style and community radio roots, Mbatha has steadily grown in popularity, making her a natural fit for the high-profile slot.
She now joins veteran host Felix Hlophe on the weekday morning show, a pairing the station hopes will energize its audience and maintain its lead in KZN’s competitive radio market.
