Well-known traditional healer and reality TV star Gogo Maweni, whose real name is Makhotso Lee-Anne Mofokeng, has welcomed twin babies with her husband, Sabelo Magube. The joyful news marks a significant personal milestone for the couple, especially after a publicly shared journey to parenthood.
The twins were born on July 19, 2025, and are said to be doing well. While the couple has kept many details private, the birth has been met with an outpouring of love from fans across social media.
Earlier this year, Gogo Maweni confirmed that she was expecting twins. She revealed that the pregnancy came about through in vitro fertilization (IVF) after facing previous challenges and losses. In February, she posted an emotional clip of their ultrasound, describing it as the “best Valentine’s gift ever.”
The pregnancy was later mentioned in court, where Maweni’s legal team cited her high-risk condition as a reason for postponing her court proceedings. A judge granted the delay, giving her time to focus on her health and prepare for the delivery.
The twins join Gogo Maweni’s three other children, each from previous relationships. She has a son with actor Sthembiso "SK" Khoza, another with former soccer player Siyabonga Zulu, and a third with an American ex-partner.
This marks her first set of children with her current husband, Sabelo Magube. The couple, who have publicly shared their spiritual and romantic bond, appear excited to step into this next chapter of parenthood together.
Due to the timing of the birth and medical recommendations related to her pregnancy, Maweni’s ongoing assault case was postponed. She is expected to return to court on October 15, 2025. Her legal team argued that the pregnancy involved complications, and the court agreed that she needed time to recover.
