Cassper Nyovest Challenges MacG to a Boxing Match on The L-Tido Podcast

Cassper Nyovest is back in the spotlight after a fiery appearance on The L-Tido Podcast. This marks his third time on the show, and once again, things didn’t stay calm for long.

During the conversation, L-Tido brought up Cassper’s long-standing issues with Podcast and Chill hosts MacG and Sol Phenduka. Instead of sidestepping the topic, Cassper leaned in and made a bold statement. He said they should settle the beef in the boxing ring. According to him, “People must come and watch us at Sun Arena. Cassper Nyovest vs. MacG.”

It’s not the first time Cassper has used boxing as a way to settle scores. Fans will remember his match with NaakMusiQ in 2022 and while that fight ended in debate, it definitely drew attention.

When L-Tido asked if he’d consider fighting Sol Phenduka instead, Cassper shut it down immediately and took a few jabs at the radio personality. Cassper joked that Sol is legally blind and not fit to compete in what he called “a man’s sport.” He added that Sol is better suited for something like chess  not boxing.

The moment quickly went viral, and it didn’t take long for Sol to respond. In a tweet that’s since been deleted, Sol reacted to Cassper’s comments by pointing out that at least Cassper acknowledged his intelligence. Even though the tweet was removed, screenshots had already spread, and fans were quick to weigh in.

Online reactions have been mixed. Some fans think the idea of a Cassper vs. MacG fight is exciting and would make for great entertainment. Others feel that Cassper is using the boxing angle to avoid real conversation, especially when it comes to sitting down with MacG on the podcast — something he’s long been invited to do.

As for the comments about Sol, not everyone found them funny. Some felt the “legally blind” remark crossed a line, while others brushed it off as typical Cassper-style banter.

So far, MacG hasn’t responded publicly. Whether he’ll accept the challenge or just let it pass remains to be seen. But if history tells us anything, this back-and-forth might not be over anytime soon.
