Thompson delivered a strong performance, signaling a return to top form, while Tebogo showed signs of progress from his previous seventh-place finish in Xiamen. The close finish among the top three athletes underscored the competitive nature of this year’s sprint season.
With Simbine maintaining consistent sub-10-second performances, Thompson building momentum, and Tebogo continuing his rapid development, the men’s 100m promises to be one of the most hotly contested events as the season progresses toward the global championships.
