MacG has once again come under fire for making disparaging remarks about media personality Minnie Dlamini. Recently, Dlamini's relationship with Dr. Brian Monaisa ended, sparking widespread speculation about the cause. Although many online users initially accused Minnie of cheating, Dr. Monaisa later released a statement clarifying that infidelity was not involved.
Despite this, MacG reignited controversy on an episode of Podcast and Chill. In a snippet reposted by @MDNnews on X, MacG asked, "Minnie is pretty, why can't she keep a man?" His co-host, Sol, speculated that Dr. Monaisa might have dated her to fulfil a fantasy. MacG pushed even further, saying there might be "something wrong with her," and even speculated that Minnie Dlamini could have a body odour issue. His comments immediately sparked outrage, with many calling him cruel, misogynistic, and disrespectful.
Critics were quick to point out the hypocrisy: MacG a husband, father to a young daughter, and son speaking so degradingly about women. Many questioned how someone with strong female figures in his life could continue to express such casual disdain for other women.
Some social media users even suggested that MacG’s consistent attacks on Minnie Dlamini might stem from personal bitterness, with allegations that Minnie may have turned him down in the past possibly explaining his recurring negativity towards her.
Adding to the controversy, many have also noticed a broader pattern in MacG’s behavior: he often targets beautiful, successful women especially those labelled as "It Girls" like Minnie Dlamini, Tyla, Boity Thulo, and others. He frequently dismisses them, belittles their success, or claims they "belong to the streets" a deeply misogynistic label meant to shame women for their independence and visibility.
Worsening public perception even further are allegations that MacG himself has not always lived up to the standards he harshly sets for others. Over the years, he has allegedly been accused of cheating on his wife, although he has not publicly addressed these claims. This has led many to accuse him of hypocrisy, questioning how someone facing such accusations can continue to criticize women's personal lives so harshly.
